In Appreciation: Donor Recognition

On September 28, 2010 a second annual Siebel Scholars Luncheon was held in the Chipman Room where the five EECS Siebel Scholars for 2010-2011 were presented with certificates welcoming them into the Siebel Scholars Community at MIT.  The presentation was made by Department Head Eric Grimson. The new Siebel Scholars are (from left) Kuang Xu, (Prof. Grimson), Katherine Lin, Michael Forbes, Hasan Celiker and Angela Yen.  Also present were Professor Terry Orlando from EECS and Assistant Dean Dedric Carter from the School of Engineering.  On October 1 through 3 the Siebel Foundation held its annual conference at MIT focusing on the topics Energy and Climate. (http://www.siebelscholars.com/conferences/2010)
